The one Andyr adopted. Alright, sure. He thinks I'm complicit in the actions of the people who stole his life from him, and I don't try too hard to dissuade him of that idea.
It probably doesn't help that he's fixated on the man whose son I gave birth to.
He's decided you're his, however he means that. He's adopted you.
( age doesn't matter when it comes to adoption, levi, shhhh. )
I do what I have to to survive and to avoid the abuse people like Andyr suffer. I'm valuable to my house, but they wouldn't hesitate to hurt me if I acted out. They'd find it an interesting experiment — deprive the carrier of food, does it affect the litter? How about holding her in isolation, would that hurt them? Lack of sunlight, lack of water, physical abuse — how durable are these mice?
I want to be comfortable, and I want the pups I carry to be healthy. The least I can give them, if I have to drag them into this world, are bodies and minds that function.
( so... yeah. judge her however you like, she doesn't give a shit. )
Alva. Our doctor, and the best man either of us knows.
Aside from Andyr and that one he's adopted? No, not really. I keep to myself, for the most part. I haven't had the opportunity to talk to many people in my life, I'm still figuring that kind of thing out. I don't want to be awkward at everyone, I want people to think I'm normal.
Anyway, I think normal is kind of subjective. People will like you for who you are, not how you act or don't act. There's a lot of opportunity for that here. To be yourself.
I don't really think I know who "myself" is. I never had much of a chance to figure it out, back home. I've got a year to figure it out, though. I'm looking forward to it.
I've never been outside my House. I want to see what the world is like. Plus it'd be convenient for rescuing the people I care about from their Houses.

It's supposedly romantic.

I'll give it a look. If it's bad I'll give it to Andyr, he likes books too.

Yes, hello, and who is this? I'm not about to tell you anything about my interpersonal relationships if I don't know who I'm talking to.

I'm Levi.

[Levi isn't sure how to take that seeing as he is older...]
So you are then. Do you really just sit back and take what they give you?
Who is that?
[He can only think of one person but he just wants to make sure.]

It's very big. And I'd never been out of the House before, I'd never seen stars. I'm enjoying it.

( should she be so amused by this? probably not. )
They know I'm not going anywhere. It's hard to walk around unnoticed when you're a mouse.
